      Keep up the current approach (eventually running every other day) & you’ll be shocked how much weight will come off, as well as how your lungs will adapt & 8 minute miles will start to be a real possibility. (mike)

      sounds like you’re doing great! you’re right about finding something new, when you diet for a long time and your routine is the same for months it does tend to get a little boring, glad you found something you’re excited about. keep it up, you’re doing awesome!!!!

      Do a cross over in the whole space time continuum thing and show this to yourself a year and a half ago. You would think then that you are nuts now.

      Sounds like you’re keeping your head about you on the plan – but it is easy to get burnt out and get injured if you take it too hard to start off. Just keep that in mind and listen to your body. 8 min pace – go Dustin!!

      if i can do it, you can do it. I was able to lose about 30 lb in a matter of 3-4 months. Hard training and good dieting will do it for you. dont starve yourself, and have fun with it!

      jogging a few miles a day can go a long way, if u need any help, or anyone to tlak to comment me up, im at 15:44 3miler. best thing u can do is always stretch, and run with a couple of friends outside, somewhere new. i know you will make your goal!

      Good Job man just stick with it and remember to “Train Smarter Not Harder” You train too hard and you will be seeing the injuries, but you also want to feel the burn at the same time..
      I think realistically go for a 30 minute milestone for your 5k. 8 minute mile is awful fast for some first timers for a 5k pace.
      I run 50-60 miles a week and am a runner in High school have any questions or help message me. I may be young, but I am very knowledgeable. Do not give up. I know it hurts. =P
